Their reverence to life....

The magestic quality of this beautiful island....

My little girl Sophie has been busy busy working on her latest project in rainbow hand dyed wool , click clack click clack....she's so pleased with her work
and its looking so lovely.....

but she can always find time to put her knitting aside






and show a friend the art of finger-knitting.
She was so patient and caring and took time, which was wonderful to see...




And I'm sure you 'll agree...Lucy certainly mastered the art x

The days have been so gloriously lovely , one can almost feel the change after the solstice ....winters days are certainly getting longer already.

As we ventured out to the annual wintery solstice lantern parade. amidst all the lights that burned so bright, we came across this shop window...decorated so beautifully..with all creatures big and small, sharing their toadstool garden....

we are so lucky in our town, that each year as the winter solstice nears, we ready ourselves with Lantern making...lanterns that move and glow and shine and beam..






as the days grow shorter and nights longer....

and we use this inward time to reflect
